Pistol 2 - Civilian

Civilian Pistol 2

Pistol 2 is a 2 day course that expands on the fundamentals and skills developed in Pistol 1. Pistol 2 reinforces proper mindset needed for deadly force and reviews the basic state laws/statutes that are applicable to personal defense and the use of deadly force for civilians. Pistol 2 expands on skills developed in Pistol 1 and introduces the student to positional shooting, movement and low light applications.

Prerequisites

Required Equipment

  • Round count: 1000 min.
  • Handgun 
  • Belt & holster
  • Eye & ear protection
  • 3 magazines
  • Flashlight
  • Weapon mounted light (optional)
  • Rain Gear
  • Knee & elbow pads (optional)
  • Water or hydration device (Camelback)
  • Pen & paper

Daily Schedule and Location

Class starts at 8:30 AM. Due to the low light portion, day 1 will continue into the evening hours and end around 9:00 PM. Day 2 typically ends around 5:00 PM.

All classes are taught at Lake Fork Sportsman's Club, 350 N. 1375 E., Atwood, IL, 61913 unless stated otherwise.
