Womens Handgun - Female Shooter
Shooter School understands the training needs for the female gun owner. This women's only course provides instruction on how to safely use and maintain a firearm in a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment. Instructors relate to you on a personal level, and spend significant time ensuring both confidence and competence with your chosen firearm. This is a 2-day course which ensures the female gun owner is proficient in the use and handling of their firearms. Day one is primarily spent in the classroom discussing firearms safety for the home, workplace, and vehicle. Discussion of the various types of firearm locks and techniques available to prevent unauthorized access,and adequate storage of firearms. Legal issues concerning use of force and laws relating to the possession and transportation of firearms are thoroughly discussed.
Ballistic concerns such as overpenetration, proper ammo selection and performance for home and range use are discussed, with emphasis on using a weapon for self defense and/or home protection. An interactive, hands on session provides instruction on how to field strip and clean your firearm.
Day 2 is spent on the range teaching the fundamentals of safe gun handling skills, presentation, sight alignment, loading/unloading, of semi-auto handguns and revolvers. Both dry fire and live fire instruction emphasize all fundamentals of successful handgun operation.
