Civilian Precision Rifle

The 2 day precision rifle class gives civilian students a mix of classroom instruction which focuses on the precision rifle, optics and equipment. In addition, Range estimation, milling, fundamentals of marksmanship and instruction coupled with range time which include stress fire, positions and accuracy fire provide the civilian shooter with a blend of practical rifle training from seasoned instructors.



Required Equipment

  • 300 rounds of match grade ammunition
  • Precision Rifle & Case (preferably drag bag)
  • Data book
  • Eye & ear protection
  • Knee & elbow pads (optional - but recommended)
  • Rain Gear
  • Water or hydration device (Camelback)
  • Notetaking materials (including pen, pencil, calculator and small flashlight)

Daily Schedule and Location

Class starts at 8:30 AM and typically ends around 5:00 PM each day.

All classes are taught at Lake Fork Sportsman's Club, 350 N. 1375 E., Atwood, IL, 61913 unless stated otherwise.
