Skill Builder - Moving While Shooting (4 hr) - $60.00 (8AM-12PM)

This course provides instruction on how to shoot while on the move. With emphasis on safety, the class focuses on tactical movement and target engagement while moving forwards, backwards, and at various angles and movement speeds.

Manipulation of the weapon (i.e. malfunction clearing and speed reloading) is also covered. The main emphasis of shooting on the move is "Marksmanship while moving."




Required Equipment

A handgun or carbine is acceptable for this course.

If using a carbine

  • Sling
  • Multiple rifle magazines (mag pouch preferred)
  • 350 rounds (minimum)
  • Eye/Ear protection

If using a handgun

  • Handgun
  • 2 magazines minimum (3 or more recommended)
  • holster and magazine pouch / holder
  • Eye/Ear protection
  • 350 rounds (minimum)




Daily Schedule and Location

All classes are taught at Lake Fork Sportsman's Club, 350 N. 1375 E., Atwood, IL, 61913 unless stated otherwise.
