Skill Builder - Prone Shooting Combatives (4 hr) - $60.00 (1PM-5PM)

The Prone Shooting Combatives course provides instruction on shooting from the prone position. Body positions, limited target exposures, shooting under vehicles/objects, varied distances of 15-100 yards, and around ground obstacles in a 360 degree environment.

Whether a rifle or pistol, Prone Shooting Combatives provide instruction on how to use cover and utilize prone positions to your advantage.



Required Equipment

A handgun or carbine is acceptable for this course.​

If using a carbine, the following equipment is required:

  • Carbine affixed with Sling
  • Multiple rifle magazines (magazine pouch / holder recommended)
  • 350 rounds (minimum)
  • Eye/Ear protection
  • Knee / elbow pads (recommended)

If using a handgun, the following equipment is required:

  • Handgun
  • 2 magazines minimum (3 or more recommended)
  • Holster / Magazine pouch
  • 350 rounds (minimum)
  • Eye/Ear protection
  • Knee/Elbow pads (recommended)


Daily Schedule and Location

All classes are taught at Lake Fork Sportsman's Club, 350 N. 1375 E., Atwood, IL, 61913 unless stated otherwise.
